CHAMPS Tennessee

The LaVergne Lake Elementary School Campaign

Headquartered in LaVergne, Tennessee, these campaigners were off to a quick-paced start! This school contacted MLI’s CHAMPS Team wanting to contribute and help sponsor a Mine Detection Dog. Their elementary-aged school students raised money throughout the year, voted, and decided to help Seven Lakes High School in Katy, Texas reach their goal to sponsor MDD Spartacus!

These students also decided to raise money to help sponsor young landmine survivors in Yemen!

The Lipscomb Campaign

This campaign was headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee on the Lipscomb University Campus. The students sponsored MDD Lipscomb in 2005; the dog worked in Azerbaijan until 2013, when he was retired to live with his handler.
