"Adopting" a mine detection dog allows you to make an invaluable contribution towards the removal of the landmines that threaten the lives, health, and peace of many communities around the world.

The cost of acquiring, training and delivering a certified mine detection dog to a contaminated country is approximately $20,000. This is a tax-deductible donation, to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Unfortunately, the countries in greatest need of MDDs are frequently the least able to afford this investment. This is where you can help.

We encourage corporations, foundations, Rotary clubs, church groups, schools, and individuals to adopt a mine detection dog. Your landmine detection dog—named by you— will become a hero to the affected nation. You will receive updates as it progresses through training and begins work.
